For years the lunatic Left has used a combination of “overpopulation,” “global cooling,” “global warming” and “climate change” to alter our modern lifestyles and corral the population into crime-ridden, overcrowded megacities so they can control us.
Now, with the most left-wing regime ever to step foot in the White House running Joe Biden’s presidency, their dreams are about to come to fruition.
One of the ways the Marxist Left seeks to control the population is by controlling all of the resources: money, food, health care, transportation – and the very energy we need to survive. To that last point, thanks to decades of crazy energy policies that have shunted the construction of new electricity generation facilities (either by regulatory mechanism or using the courts), America’s last globalist cabal in D.C. is closer now to achieving the overarching control than at any time in our history.
Now, U.S. power grid operators are warning of coming power outages in states where coal-fired plants are closing by the scores, and at a time when the regime is pushing a massive shift to electric vehicles.
According to FOX Business: “While some major cities are already seeing their lights go off due to electricity use overload, grid operators and energy advocates gave a warning to states closing their coal-fired power plants even quicker than they can build new ones. Eighty coal-fired power plants are slated to close across 14 states in the next six years, Flock mentioned in his report, which poses a threat as some blackouts have already begun and coal and nuclear power still source 41 percent of the country’s electricity, according to the Energy Information Administration.”
“Any plans to remove nuclear plants or coal power plants or natural gas plants that are slated to be closed, that has to be completely suspended,” Power the Future Executive Director Daniel Turner told FOX Business‘ Jeff Flock this week.
“Many coal plants and nuclear plants can come back online,” Turner pointed out. “They’ve maybe been turned off and decommissioned, but they haven’t been torn down.”
A former CEO of Cumberland Farms Gulf Oil Group, Joe Petrowski, said that electricity plant closures that are due to the ridiculous green energy pushed based on “The Big Lie” of human-caused climate change will become the “next big crisis” for our country.
“It’s going to make what’s happening in liquid fuels look like a speed bump in the shopping parking lot compared to what will happen in electricity,” Petrowski warned further on the issue.
“We’re shutting down coal plants, which I’m for,” he continued. “We’re decommissioning nuclear because people just don’t want nuclear in their backyard, even though the French get 85 to 90% and natural gas is now $7, going to 10. So we are going to have a huge spike in electric prices.”
While the Biden regime continues to push the greatest economy in the history of the planet – and certainly still the biggest in the world, currently – toward self-induced blackouts that will kill businesses and cause riots in major cities, the rest of the world continues to rely heavily on coal-fired plants (because they are cheap to operate and because with today’s technology, coal burns cleaner than ever). Some 37 percent of the world still uses coal, and this is especially true in emerging economies like India and China, the latter with the world’s second-largest economy.
Plus, the refusal to go nuclear is just stupid; nuclear plants have zero emissions and we have been building them for so long that they have excellent safety records. And they can generate a ton more electricity than a standard power plant.
But the Biden regime and its left-wing globalist cabal don’t want America to be strong. And they don’t want Americans to be independent. They want us poor and dependent on them for everything.
So they’ll crash our economy, willingly, to achieve their dark political objectives.
