UK: Protests are underway in London on Tuesday as Mayor Sadiq Khan announced the expansion of a “green” zone that will tax drivers based on vehicle emissions.
The Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) charges drivers in vehicles weighing over 3.5 tons £12.50 daily for driving within the zone, which has now expanded to include all of greater London, which will bring 5 million more Londoners into the tax zone.
The experts are clear: London’s toxic air is a public health crisis. It should never have been allowed to get this bad, but today we’re doing something about it. #ULEZ #CleanAir

The ULEZ cameras scan your license plate then cross-check it with a database to determine if you meet emissions standards. If not, you’re fined £12.50 per day.
The dark green area represents the previous ULEZ, the bright green represents the expanded ULEZ that went into effect Tuesday.

The UK is one of the European countries that’s committed to the World Health Organization and World Economic Forum‘s goal of “Net Zero” emissions by 2050.
Protesters took to the streets in response to the announcement demanding Khan resign and the ULEZ project be dismantled.

LONDON – ULEZ protests.
Rishi in hiding from the public, he knows this is government policy! He knows this is the plan for all cities & towns in the UK. As published on the governments own website.
They didn’t ask you! You don’t matter!

Some Londoners, dubbed “Blade Runners”, have even taken it upon themselves to dismantle the ULEZ cameras across the city in recent weeks ahead of the expansion announcement.
Khan in March labeled these critics of the ULEZ expansion as “far-right”, claiming they’re now grouped with “Covid deniers” and “vaccine deniers.”
God bless the Blade Runners!
Keep going lads.

Brexit leader Nigel Farage claimed the Blade Runners successfully took down 90% of ULEZ cameras in London ahead of Khan’s announcement.
Data from the Global Carbon Project shows the UK isn’t even considered one the top 10 carbon emitters in the world. The top polluter by a long shot is China, which is receiving little political pressure from liberal Western leaders to adopt these kind of green schemes.
Notably, Mayor Khan tried to discredit and suppress scientific studies showing the ULEZ system has a negligible effect on reducing air pollution, according to private emails.
To add insult to injury, Khan’s taxpayer-funded 2020 Range Rover is EXEMPT from paying ULEZ fees!
From The Telegraph:
While drivers of older, cheaper cars will have to pay £12.50 for entering ULEZ, Mr Khan can sit back and enjoy his comfortable ride as he is ferried around the capital in his £300,000 James Bond style armoured plated vehicle, which is provided for him by the Metropolitan Police.
The ULEZ fee will apply to vehicles that do not meet minimum emissions standards but generally affects diesel cars registered before 2015 and cars registered prior to 2005.
Fortunately for Mr Khan, his lavish 2020 Range Rover, paid for by public funds, does not fall into this category, unlike the situation many hard-up motorists in and around London face, who are having to either buy new vehicles or pay the ULEZ charge.
Londoners know that ULEZ is a giant money grab scam and aren’t going to take this green tyranny lying down.
