Tucker Carlson’s long-awaited interview with President Trump is set to be premiered at 8:55pm ET when so-called Republican Primary candidates take the stage for the first 2024 GOP presidential debate.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Tucker Carlson released a tweet earlier today announcing his interview tonight with President Donald Trump and taking a shot at Fox, his former employer, in his announcement.
President Trump announced on Wednesday morning that his interview with former FOX News host Tucker Carlson will air tonight on Twitter starting at 8:55 pm Eastern.
The interview will coincide with the first GOP presidential debate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
President Trump opted out of the debate, knowing FOX News hosts and the rest of the GOP challengers were waiting to hit him with a barrage of attacks.
The Republican debate will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, tonight and will be hosted by Fox News. FOX News is furious that Trump is skipping their debate. The anti-Trump channel went so far as to ban his surrogates from the media room following the debate.
How brilliant! While Tucker and Trump far outpace Fox News’s viewership, the entire debate will consist of candidates talking around Trump.
Trump said he won’t participate in the debates because his poll numbers are “extraordinary.” Why would he open himself up to attacks from dishonest candidates and so-called moderators?
“Reagan didn’t do it, and neither did others,” Trump said of his decision to skip the primary debates.
For a long time now, Trump has led primary opponents by 30, 40, and even 50 points in the polls. Each indictment by the radical Biden Regime has only made him more popular.
Tucker dropped the following teaser video showing what was discussed in his interview with Donald Trump.
Some of the dialogue included:
Tucker: You say there are people on stage who shouldn’t be running for president. Who do you mean?
Tucker: Whatever happened and Mike Pence? He’s out there attacking you. What is that?
Tucker: Do you think Epstein killed himself, sincerely?
Tucker: Do you think we’re moving towards civil war?
Tucker: You’re saying they stole it from you last time. Why wouldn’t they do the same this time?
Trump: Well they’ll try. They’re going to try. Mitch McConnell is trying to get Senators to impeach me. Crooked Joe Biden is so bad. He’s the worst president in the history of our country. I don’t think he’s going to make it to the gate but you know, you never know.
Tucker: It started with protests against you and then it moved to impeachment twice and now indictment. Are you worried that they’re gonna try and kill you? Why wouldn’t they try and kill you, honestly?
Trump: They’re savage animals. They are people that are sick.
Donald Trump. Tucker Carlson.
