The most active military operations are ongoing in Mariupol, where the DFR uints with support of Russian forces reportedly accelerated their advance. Moping up the streets of the city, they managed to separate nationalist forces after what the AFU was reportedly forced to leave several ares.
The main Ukrainian stronghold is the large industrial facility of Azovstal which is yet to be stormed. After the remaining Ukrainian militants in Mariupol are neutralized or surrender, most of the Russian and DPR troops could be transferred to the Donetsk direction, where the reserves are being pulled up. However, the redeployment of the units from Mariupol will also take time. Meanwhile, DPR and LPR forces are apparently suffering lack of reinforcements needed for a massive assault on the Ukrainian groupings in the Donbass region.
Without any advances, the offensive of the joint forces of the Russian army and the DPR People’s Militia continues from the direction of Gorlovka. Fighting began for the village of Novoselovka.

In the Chernihiv outskirts, Russian forces reported resumed active military actions. Four AFU planes were shot down in this area today. The AFU were reportedly forced to step back closer to the city. In the nearby city of Slavutich, which was recently taken under the control of Russian forces, no clashes were reported. The demilitarization of the city continues, checkpoints were established on the roads. If the AFU do not come to the city of Chernihiv and do not provoke street fighting, the city may be taken under the control of the Russian military without fighting. Unfortunately, the SFU units are likely to resist, and the city may face horrific destructions in the near future. The securing of the city of Chernihiv would allow the safe transfer of the Russian military reinforcement to the Kiev front lines.

In the southern regions of Ukraine, the AFU attempted to attack Russian forces in Kherson from Nikolaev along the M-14 highway.
The AFU units reached the north-eastern outskirts of Kherson but were reportedly repelled in Chernobayevka and were forced to turn back.
The accumulation of forces of the AFU supported by members of the so-called territorial defence (armed civilians) was reported in the area of the village of Stanislav. As a result, the area was heavily shelled by Russian artillery. No more advances by any side were reported.
